We are an extremely busy group of children who regularly meet with Miss Stott the Headteacher and Mrs Moses who is in charge of key stage 2 and is the Year 6 teacher. We also get to meet with the Governors and other members of staff. We have been voted in to represent our school and we take our jobs very seriously.
We organise many charity events such as the Christmas Craft Fayre, the Run, Jog, Walk event and Operation Christmas Child. We listen to our classes issues and suggestions and take them to meetings.
We have an action plan and a board in the hall with all our ideas on, should you want to see it. Plus, we always take information back to our classes. We all have jobs on the school council such as secretary, chair, vice chair and these are important roles.
This year Miss Stott has asked us to write to the Governors to tell them what we have been doing and also so that they can get our views on any changes which the adults might want to make. This was very exciting and we enjoy producing these reports. (click on the link below to see our most recent report.) One of our jobs is to be role models in the school and show visitors around. We are proud of our school and work hard to make sure that it is happy, peaceful and tidy.
We carry out worship and assemblies on such things as the British Values as we were elected to serve our school. We also have one member who is part of the Burnley Pupil Parliament, this is very exciting
