Our Geography topic this term will involve us studying ‘Rivers’. This will also link in with our English, Science and Art topics. We will look at what rivers are as well as their different locations around the UK and rest of the world. Moving on, we will look at how a river is formed as well as reciting all the different features that make up a river. We will then look at the water cycle and discuss why it is so important to life on Earth. Finally, children will choose a famous river to research as well as the city it is located in, creating their own fact-file, providing information on everything they have learned about rivers.
