Science Club

To resume when allowed.

In Science Club, we have been very busy in our first half term!

One of our first challenges was to work in groups to see who could build the best tower out of spaghetti and marshmallows. There were some interesting designs and great team work, resulting in some free standing towers!

We have also created four own friction, using a balloon, meaning we were able to pick up our paper newt without touching it – just like Matilda! The challenge was to see if there was anything at home that they could also pick up using friction!

Our plane and helicopter session saw us making both flying objects from paper and seeing which flew the furthest and what differences we could see in their movement. We then made our own design of plane to see if we could make them travel further!
