Our Classroom Under the Sky

Hazel Class have been enjoying our Forest School sessions each Thursday. We have had lots of fun learning how to 'be our best'. We have learnt how to be a good listener, how to keep develop our ideas and ask questions about our forest school environment. This week, we checked for hazards, flora, fauna and learnt how to use tools safely.

In Forest School, Hazel class have been looking at 'Being my Best'. This has involved us to work and build upon our resilience and perseverance. We continued to also build upon previous skills we have been learning throughout the topic 'Being my Best' unit. This has involved skills such as good listening and working as part of a team. Hazel class took part in a number of activities to build up their independence. The carousel activities involved us building tents, creating our own fairy gardens, making our own assault course and inventing our own games linked to problem solving.
