We read The Owl Who was Afraid of the Dark by Jill Tomlinson and wrote our own version of the story. After an amazing visit from the owl lady, we found out all about owls and made our own pop-up information booklet.  In Science, we looked at the properties of materials and explained why materials are used for different objects. We designed and made hand puppets based on a fairy character in Design Technology and learnt all about toys our grandparents would have played with. There are many more highlights including making pictograms in Computing, finding ways to stay healthy in PSHE and of course our rather amazing Nativity!
