Lesson: Maths

Class: Willow Class Year: 2020 - 2021

We will develop our place value knowledge further, working with numbers to 100.
We will further develop our ability to add and subtract, working with two digit numbers. We will also learn our 2, 3, 5 and 10 times tables and related division facts.
We will further develop our learning of shape, measurement and time.
We complete our mathematic learning using a concrete, pictorial and abstract approach. We begin by exploring practical resources before moving onto using drawings and mental methods.
During our learning about shapes, we investigated 2D and 3D shapes. We were given marshmallows and spaghetti which we had to make shapes out of! We were very creative and managed to make some brilliant 3D shapes!
