Science

In Science, we have been learning about States of Matter. We have learnt all about solids, liquids and gases, we have watched water evaporate from a kettle and condense using a plate. We have tested pouring solids such as sand and rice. We even tested Oobleck to show that not all materials follow the same rules.

DT

We have been making toys in DT. First, we had to test pneumatic systems and see how they worked. We used syringes and tubing to create movement. We then used tubing and a balloon to create the pneumatic mechanism for our toy. We can’t wait to show you what these boxes have turned into at our Family Friday!

RE

In RE, we have been learning about where and when some people of faith pray. We have been looking at artefacts associated with prayer across different religions. We have designed and made artefacts associated with prayer. In the photographs you can see our prayer flags that include lots of things we are grateful for. When the wind blows through the window, our prayers are scattered around.

Music

We have worked hard over the half term in our Music lessons. We have a special treat to show you when you attend our Family Friday event on Friday 6th November. We can’t wait to show you!
