Towneley Park Visit

In preparation for our DT unit, which is looking at structures with an outcome to produce a playground, we visited Towneley Park. We met Shona from ESP Play, who talked through the process of designing a playground, the different structures, how equipment works and key aspects that need to be considered when creating a playground. We also got to have some fun when trying out the equipment. Although a soggy day, the umbrellas helped and fun was had by all! We will use our ideas to design and create our playgrounds, and we are hoping for some great designs, as there were lots of budding planners!
